My own 2 point recepie:
Of course this wont work for eveyrbody :) but the point I am trying to make is that once someone shares the same interest in books, there is very high probability that we will have similar views of the world and therefore can argue and morph each other's personalities so we both grow as individual entities.
You might wander what makes me think that if someone read similar book genres as me has good probability to be my friend, and let me be clear, by friend I mean a friend I can call in the middle of the night crying because I just re-watched interstellar(Yes, I cry even though I am a man.). The big five personality traits4:
In this paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/1707.06643.pdf you can see how they can link your big5 traits to the books you read5. Of course it is better if you read the whole paper, my point is there is corelation between the books you read and the personality traits you have. There is also research how the-big-5 defines team performance for example2, or the friends we have3
So it is reasonable for me to think, that if I meet someone who reads similar books, we might become friends, so please add your books in booknomads :)
